WHAT IF... WE SPEAK ABOUT AN ECO FRIENDLY FASHION DESIGNER?

This time I will not talk about musicians, but something similar. Today, I will talk about designer Stella McCartney, daughter Paul McCartney, from the Beatles.

This designer is highly committed with the environment, without losing its style. Stella doesn’t use fabrics that come from animal cruelty in her creations. She has spent years promoting a more sustainable lifestyle and most of its raw materials are organic and recycled materials. For her, killing a fox to make a fur coat is cruel, the real challenge of fashion is not to damage the planet, neither people nor animals. In Autumn-Winter 2015 collection, Stella used Argentinean wool from farmers in Patagonia as they were respectful with flora and fauna.

Their handbags are made from vegetable oil from non edible plants and the shoes have a biodegradable sole made with a 50% of renewable materials.

In her parades she never presents girls who don’t look real, she always tries to hire models with a natural and healthy appearance and her clothes are designed for all types of women, old and young, tall and short, thin and healthy.

Stella McCartney is the winner of many fashion awards such as the "British Fashion Awards" in 2012, as the best British designer of the year. In addition, many brands want to work with her. She has designed for Chloé, Gucci, H&M and Adidas.
